Our contribution to protecting the environment

As a company, we recognise our responsibility to the local and global environment and are dedicated to their preservation.

	Water / Waste Water After purification our waster water is returned to the river and the waste sludge dried and incinerated.
	Energy Our on-site power station is fired with environmentally friendly natural gas and operates according to the principle of cominbed heat and power generation: once the steam has been utitlised for generating electricity, the remaining energy is used in other processes.
	Recovery The waste gases from the viscose production are cleaned and the raw materials recovered are reused in the processes.
	Waste Recycling Our waste is burned in our company's own waste recycling plant. The waste heat from the combustion process is incorporated into the steam network - substantial quantities of natural gas can be saved.
